INTERNATIONAL INTENSIVE COURSE FOR TEACHERS OF ORGANIZATIONS TYPE ON THE TOPIC: "TEACHER OF THE 21ST CENTURY: DESIGN, MEDIA AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN TECHNICAL AND VOCATIONAL EDUCATION"

  On September 15, 2025, the College of Printmedia Technologies launched the International Intensive Course for Teachers of Technical and Vocational Education Organizations (TVE) - "Teacher of the 21st Century: Design, Media and AI in Technical and Vocational Education" within the framework of the Year of Working Professions and the Academic Mobility Program for Teachers. The event is aimed at developing the internationalization of TVE, digital and creative competencies, as well as the integration of modern educational practices that meet the challenges of the time. The relevance of the intensive course was emphasized in the Address of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev dated September 8, 2025, where the head of state noted: - "Vocational and technical education is the key to economic growth. It is necessary to develop teachers' skills in AI and digital technologies. Our country needs a new generation of masters - those who think creatively, have digital skills and are able to adapt to a rapidly changing world." The intensive program (18 academic hours) includes:
- Lectures on visual culture, digital advertising, multimedia in project activities;
- Master classes on the use of artificial intelligence and animation in educational products;
- Training in modern methods of teaching specialized disciplines taking into account the digital transformation of education;
- Project work in international teams aimed at developing creative solutions and cases for TVE.
The intensive helps to strengthen professional ties between teachers from different countries, promote best practices and improve the quality of training of technical and professional specialists.

"The Future of Digital Professions: Integrating AI, Design, and Printing"

On September 15, 2025, as part of the International Intensive Course for Teachers of Technical and Vocational Education Organizations "Teacher of the 21st Century," a panel discussion, "The Future of Digital Professions: Integrating AI, Design, and Printing," was held. It brought together teachers from various technical and vocational education organizations in Almaty.
Key discussion topics:
- The role of artificial intelligence in training specialists in blue-collar jobs
- Digital design and multimedia as tools for modern education
- The future of printing technologies in the digital age
- The need to update educational programs in technical and vocational education to reflect technological trends
The panel discussion generated a lively response from the audience. Teachers asked questions and clarified the details of working with artificial intelligence tools. Speakers emphasized the importance of integrating AI and creative technologies into vocational education to meet the demands of the future labor market. The discussion provided a platform for the exchange of practices, views, and solutions aimed at developing a flexible, technologically advanced, and in-demand training model. On September 17, 2025, within the framework of the Year of Working Professions and Academic Mobility, the international intensive for teachers of TVET organizations — “The 21st Century Teacher: Design, Media and Artificial Intelligence in Technical and Vocational Education” successfully ended
On the final day, the main events were held:
Practical: development and presentation of concepts for interdisciplinary projects
Defense of final projects under the guidance of teachers from the Shanghai College of Printing and Polygraphy. Participants proposed solutions that combined technology, creativity and educational experience
Reflection: teachers shared the tools they plan to use in their work — from AI technologies to new teaching methodologies
Ceremonial presentation of certificates and conclusion
The participants noted the high level of organization, the value of international experience exchange and the practical orientation of the program. The intensive became an important step in the modernization of technical and vocational education, combining pedagogy, digital technologies and a creative approach.
